Every Program Grew

From FY2025 to FY2026, afterschool, STEAM Day, and summer camp all grew, with afterschool students nearly quadrupling. Each program is shown on one shared scale.

They Showed Up, and Stayed

Beyond enrollment, students attended and kept coming back. Here is how deep engagement ran in each FY2026 program.

Beyond Enrollment, Students Are Learning

Across the STEM afterschool courses, students completed 1,681 quizzes and 565 hands-on activities.

Demand Outpaced Capacity

Interest outpaced the seats we had. Every figure below is a child who asked to join a program this year and could not be seated.

Participation by Island

The program runs across the three main U.S. Virgin Islands, which are separated by open water. Staff and students fly or sail between them, a real barrier to reaching every island. Select an island below for its FY2026 participation (high-level counts only; names, birthdays, and personal registration details are excluded).

Hover, tap, or focus an island to see its FY2026 participation.

  • STEAM Day and Summer Camp figures are confirmed registrations, verified from the registration system (territory totals: 284 STEAM Day, 149 summer).
  • Afterschool figures are program enrollment records by site; the territory program enrolled 356 students this year, with 263 currently active.
  • Community engagement shows the new FY2026 events estimated by island. The territory-wide community total of 1,380 also includes recurring events counted territory-wide.
  • St. John has a much smaller population than St. Croix and St. Thomas, so lower totals reflect island and school-age population size.

2025 vs 2026 Community Engagement Expansion

More than tripled

Estimated community engagement grew from 405 participants in FY2025 to 1,380 in FY2026, more than three times the reach, through new outreach events, school site visits, and large-scale STEM partnerships.

Meet Breeze!

Our official RTPark STEM Mascot. Breeze represents curiosity, creativity, and the joyful spirit of STEM exploration across the Virgin Islands: hands-on, exciting, and full of discovery.

From three islands to every classroom we can reach, this is just the start. We are growing hands-on STEM access across the U.S. Virgin Islands, one student at a time.
